2:00 – Sweetwater Sisters

The Sweetwater Sisters (Pamela Jo Hatley, Susan Fox & Jenny James) are well known to the Sweetwater Farm Sunday Market audience as they all played essential parts in the founding and early development. Pamela is the environmental lawyer who has guided the farm through its recent rezoning and is an award-winning singer, song-writer and banjo player. Susan Fox is an appellate lawyer who grew up on Sweetwater Creek and coordinated the Sunday music program for the first four seasons; she plays guitar and mandolin with the Sisters. Jenny James is a computerized education wizard and multi-instrumentalist who plays mostly flute and fiddle while sometimes switching to guitar or mandolin. They formed the trio out of their informal jam sessions. Together they have played Pinellas and Orlando Folk Festivals, the UU Dome, Gram’s Place, and Kojak’s Florida Folk Night, performing mainly old-timey music in three part harmony.
