How do we promote a fertile living soil using safe, economical gardening practices? We'll interweave the relationships of beneficial soil microbes, mulching, wise composting practices, water saving techniques, and attracting beneficial insects. Through companion planting our gardens become healthy, beautiful, and delicious. Utilizing the nourishing and free gifts of our local oak trees, we'll find abundant material for mulch, compost, frost protection, and microbe and earthworm habitat. Bring your garden questions, and we'll share organic gardening tips with each other. Description of Presenter: Willow LaMonte is a folk herbalist and long-time organic gardener.
