Description of Workshop: Join us for a two-hour experience of the myriad healing gifts herbs have to share with us. Learn ways to use and organically grown herbs in our unique Central Florida growing conditions. We'll look at tropical, cool temperate, dry-loving Mediterranean, and humid-craving herbs, so we can gather their healing nourishment, scent, beauty, and timeless wisdom. Instructor: Willow LaMonte is a folk herbalist and long-time organic gardener. She is a member of the American Herbalist Guild, the Florida Herb Society, and United Plant Savers. Amidst oak trees in Valrico she grows a small organic herb nursery, Willow Herbal Gardens, using Permaculture and Biodynamic methods. She loves to dream in Neolithic. Details: Open to the public.
