Market
Sweetwater not only grows organic fruits and vegetables, we also host a community Farmer’s Market! The Sweetwater Sunday Farmers' Market is open to the general public on Sundays from noon to 4pm during our harvest season (November to May). Leashed dogs welcomed. Come check out the farm, listen to great music, have a picnic lunch, shop for organic produce and environmentally-friendly products, meet like-minded individuals, and enjoy our orchard and gardens. Bring your friends and family! It's a great way to support local businesses, local/organic agriculture, and our educational and community programs.
The market features:
- The Sweetwater Organic Produce Stand, where we sell a variety of organic fruits and vegetables, including surplus Sweetwater Farm-raised veggies, as well as non-Sweetwater produce (also organic). We also carry Sweetwater organic cotton T-shirts and fair trade/organic coffee (whole bean and ground), hot or baking cocoa, and chocolate. We take cash or check with ID. No credit cards please.
- Other vendors selling environmentally-friendly and handcrafted products, such as wonderful organic cotton and hemp clothing, beautiful handmade arts and crafts, organic herbs, gardening books, Florida-native plants, local produce, body care products and other items.
- Sweetwater's Healthy Living Workshop Series, with workshops by guest presenters on sustainable living skills, organic gardening, holistic healing and more. Check out our Workshop page for upcoming events.
- Sweetwater Live Music Series with open mike sessions from 12-1pm and 3-4pm, and featured performers from 1-3pm at every market. We have tons of great musicians, including many internationally-known artists, who frequent our stage. Come join us to play or listen to some great music! Check our Music page for more details
- Delicious prepared foods such as organic smoothies and veggie burgers
