“Art from the Heart”: An Evening with Artist Martha Gipson

Martha Gipson’s well of inspiration pulls from all kinds of experiences: from travel and daily observation of nature, as well as uncanny emotions, spiritual experiences, dreams, grief, and joy. The St. Petersburg artist imbues the yearning for eternal beauty in all her mesmerizing scenes.

Martha is also a psychiatric nurse specialist and has spent years teaching painting to adults functioning with severe mental disorders.  “People and their uniqueness inspire me and fuel my passion.”

Join us at the cafe for an evening with Martha Gipson as we explore the ideas and influences of her art and hear stories from the artist herself. See her incredible art pieces up-close and even purchase an original to take home. 

There will also be live music with local artists Deb Ruby and J’aiChaim Welch, fresh-baked goods from Breaking Bread, vendors offering artisan fare, and freshly brewed organic coffee and tea beverages.
