Live Music with Swallowtail Cousin

Rooted in southern classic rock, acoustic duo Swallowtail Cousin pairs the beautiful guitarwork of Tony Purnell, a veteran  of the Tampa Bay music scene, with the heartfelt lyrics of  Liz Alden. Their harmonies weave together 1970s hits and new songs of love and loss, traffic, sandwiches, and the International Space Station.  In their brief collaboration they’ve been featured at Safety Harbor Holiday Nights, Tampa Union Station Train Day, Sweetwater Farm’s Planters Ball, and many Tampa Bay venues.  Both are accomplished songwriters with Alden’s two albums on all streaming platforms and Purnell’s band Four-Star Riot placing a song in the first Deadpool movie.
