Come to the organic gardens at Willow Herbal Delight Gardens and experience the heat-loving edibles growing easily during the hot, humid months of the year: Many perennial and self-seeding annual tropicals are among easiest food plants and herbs to grow. They’re more resistant to pests and plant diseases, plus very easy to propagate. Learn natural techniques for bananas; sweet potatoes, cassava, tapoica, and other tropical roots/tubers; tropical beans; numerous colorful, nutritious leaves from hibiscus to katuk; tropical members of the tomato family; and herbs/ spices like lemongrass, curry leaf tree, ginger, cardamon, galangal, turmeric, patchouli, and guinea henweed. The Gardens are located at the last house on the left on Ray Road (only 1 block long), off of S. Miller Rd., 1/3 mile south of Lumsden Rd. in Valrico.
