WE LOVE VOLUNTEERS!!!

GENERAL INFO: Individuals or GROUPS are welcome to come out to the farm as volunteers to learn hands-on about organic farming and help out our community farm.  All are welcome to volunteer, including children under supervision and students fulfilling community service hours.   Volunteers under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers can assist with a variety of farm tasks such as planting, harvesting, and weeding.  There are also site projects for those with carpentry and electrical skills. 

Times: From November through May, our major volunteer days are Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, 8:30am-4pm. Help needed especially on Sunday mornings! If you'd like to volunteer on one of our regular volunteer days, call us at (813) 887-4066 and leave a message letting us know when to expect you.  If you'd like to volunteer during another time, please call to make arrangements in advance.

REQUIRED: All volunteers are required to wear close-toed shoes.  Bring anything you'll need for working outdoors (hat, water, food, etc.).  Children under supervision are welcome to come. We look forward to meeting you.  Thanks for your interest!

HARVEST LEADERS NEEDED: We also need HARVEST LEADERS who get trained to help lead the harvest on Sunday mornings. If you can volunteer on Sundays on a regular basis (weekly, monthly or whatever you can do), we can train you on our harvesting techniques, so you can teach other volunteers what to do. If you're interested, just let us know the next time you come in!
